WICEN NSW is a communications support squad of VRA Rescue NSW.

The 70cm repeater that was previously at Berowa is now back on air in Hornsby on the same frequencies. However, it is not linked to the Kurrajong 70cm repeater at present.

This weekend saw a number of WICEN Operators assist with this year’s JOTA. These included, Compton VK2HRX, Mark VK2MOH, Richard VK2SKY, Nicholas VK2MYK, Raffy VK2RF, Irene VK2VAN and Jan VK2FEB. Thanks also to James VK2GOH for organising the WICEN operators to assist with the JOTA weekend.
