Last weekend on 3rd September saw WICEN NSW have its Annual General Meeting.
A new committee was elected with the following people:

• President : Lindsay Bolstad, VK2JLB
• Vice President : Neil Fallshaw, VK2XNF
• Secretary : Steve Diekman, VK2MCA
• Treasurer : Doug Rosser, VK2DCR
• Committee Members : Mark Halliwell, VK2MOH
           Nic McLean, VK2KXN
           Paul Britton, VK2PTB
           Simon Brown, VK2TW.

Also at the AGM, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Compton Allen VK2HRX, Barry White VK2AAB and Nic McLean VK2KXN.

WICEN NSW will be conducting a training exercise on Saturday 24th September over a number of locations with as many WICEN members as possible. This will be similar to the exercise last February. Operations will be on HF as well as 2 metres. Country members are encouraged to join in. If you would like to participate, please contact Mal Alexander at .

WICEN NSW is providing the safety communications for the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic which is being held on the weekend of 29th - 30th October after a 3 year break. This event is a paddle of 111km down the Hawkesbury River from Windsor to Mooney Mooney.

WICEN NSW conducts weekly voice nets on Sunday evenings at 6pm, on either the Chatswood 2 metre repeater or the Kurrajong 70cm repeater.
