The WICEN (NSW) Inc AGM will be held here at ARNSW, 63 Quarry Road on Saturday, September 21st, at 2pm.
Operators are sought for the Kangaroo Valley - Remexio Partnership's Trek for Timor next Saturday, September 14th. This event raises funds for several important education related projects in Timor Leste. There are 14, 35, and 50 km options, taking in Kangaroo Valley, Fitzroy Falls, and optionally Meryla Pass. The Hounslow Classic is a running event in the upper Blue Mountains, around Blackheath and Grose Valley, on September 28th and 29th.
The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic, including the new Classic Relay, runs overnight from Saturday October 26th to Sunday 27th.
The next training session will be here at ARNSW in Dural on Sunday, October 5th. Members are also encouraged to take advantage of the free courses offered by the Office of Emergency Management, at: https://www.emtraining.nsw.gov.au/

The WICEN Mid North Coast Region monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month, at SES HQ, Central Road, Port Macquarie, beginning at 15:30. The region runs an HF net on Thursday evenings at 19:00, on the WICEN frequency, 3.600 MHz.
WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the "Capital Country" region, and on the South Coast. On October 4th and 5th WICEN is providing admin support for ANU's Inward Bound. The Light Car Club of Canberra's Monaro Stages is Saturday October 19th. Fitz's Challenge is a road cycling event on Sunday October 27th. The Club is once again providing training and examinations, including later this month. WICEN Victoria will be supporting the Stockman's Rally on October 27th in Big River State Forest. The Alpine Rally is November 29th to December 1st, around Lakes Entrance. The weekly net is on each Tuesday at 8:30 pm, on 3.6 MHz. The calendar on WICEN Victoria's website, http://vic.wicen.org.au, is also well populated with events from February on, including Dementia Walk and Run events.
