Today, WICEN ACT is providing communications support for Dementia Australia's Canberra Memory Walk and Jog (https://memorywalk.com.au).

Walks in NSW are scheduled in the Hunter, in Penrith, and in Rozelle. These events are an ideal training ground in emergency communications for WICEN members.

Other Interstate events will be supported by WICEN Victoria and WICEN South Australia.

Upcoming community support events include True Grit 2021 and the Glow Worm Tunnel Marathon.

WICEN runs a weekly net, each Sunday evening. This week, the main net will be on the VHF FM Chatswood Repeater at 18:00 hours, and on the WICEN DMR Network on TAC7 at 18:30 hours.

A digital messaging network session using WINLINK and JS8CALL net is held on Monday evenings.
