WICEN will have a stand at the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club's Wyong Field Day on 22 February 2015. This is an opportunity to pay your membership, or to join the organisation.

The Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Service's website lists the Navshield, or NSW Emergency Services Wilderness Navigation Shield, for the weekend of the 4th and 5th of July, with set-up on the 3rd. It will be held at an as yet undisclosed location, typically within a few hours' drive of Sydney.

WICEN has a twitter account: @wicennsw
It can be viewed at: twitter.com/wicennsw

Facebook users will find the official WICEN New South Wales page, an informal national WICEN group, and at least one interstate group.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and surrounding areas. The club's website at http://www.crarc.ampr.org includes details of both WICEN and general events, including training.

Your publicity officer has noticed as number of work shirts in Cyan, a light blue, and in pink, sold as being high visibility. These only comply with the Night aspect of the Australian Standard, as do dark clothes with reflective tape. As such, should they be worn on a WICEN event where Hi-Viz is required, a vest would also need to be worn during the day. The label will indicate the aspects complied with by way of a D, an N, or D/N [D-stroke-N].
