WICEN is supporting a number of Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog events. These are fairly short, and ideal for new members. Albury-Wodonga's event, with the 10 km run option crossing from Wodonga, to Albury and back, is next Sunday, May 22. The Hunter event will be May 29, at Warner's Bay.

WICEN Northern Rivers is supporting the Jackadgery Enduro on 21-22 May. This is a new horse endurance ride to be held in Grange State Forest, north of Jackadgery, which is west of Grafton. The group also provided communications for the Girard Enduro in the Girard State Forest over the weekend of April 30 and May 1, an event run by the Tenterfield Endurance Riders.

Members should have received an email regarding the training day is planned for Sunday 5 June, to be held here at the ARNSW site in Dural, commencing at 9:30 a.m.

WICEN will be supporting the True Grit event again this year on 11-12 June. It is held at Dargle Farm, Lower Portland. There is a requirement for shifts
to operate through the night. Camping is possible on site. The event will finish mid-afternoon Sunday. Those wishing to assist are asked to indicated what part of the weekend they are available.

The BWRS Navshield will be over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd July, with set-up on Friday 1st. The location remains secret. As well as the support roles, there is the possibility of a WICEN Team.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and southern NSW. The club's website is at: This now includes information on their DMR or Digital Mobile Radio project, and links to their Facebook and Google-Plus pages.

Their coming events include their largest event for the year, the BMSC National Capital (or NatCap) Rally over the weekend of May 28 and 29. The Sapphire Coast Sporting Car Club Bega Rally will be on 11 and 12 June. Saturday 23rd. July is the BMSC Narooma Rally. Foundation courses are provided bi-monthly, with the next being held next weekend, with exams for all levels on the Sunday.

WICEN Victoria are supporting the Kendra Rally today, and the Mallee Rally is on the weekend of 11 and 12 June at Sea Lake, south of Euston and Robinvale. The group's website is at:
